The bed was exceptionally comfortable. the location was marvelous, really close to San Diego downtown, Sea World, and a delicious Asian restaurant. the area was very nice and quiet.

This hotel staff was so worried about customers smoking in there room.I agreed to not smoke or face a 200 dollar fine.I kept my end of the deal.In return i asked for a wake up call at 6 am which never came, making me late to work.This is unacceptable and i will never stay at super Late hotels again.You should be ashamed of this La Mesa. This location was excellent and convenient for my trip. The flexibility of the housekeeping staff to accommodate my rest and personal needs was great!

The continental breakfast was very mundane with repeat offerings every day of my stay. Variety would have been appreciated. On-site laundry would be an improvement.

There was a large-scale power outage the day of our scheduled arrival. Therefore, we could not check in until the following day. The staff at the Super 8 explained the situation and were very accomodating the following day!

I recently stayed at a budget motel in the San Diego area and was pleasantly surprised by the location. It was in a very nice area away from the usual sights, but still close enough to many tourist places. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed, including a microwave. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast. The free internet access was a bonus. I would definitely consider staying here again.

One downside was that the parking spots were too small and cars were double parked.
